Founded in 1905 by Norwegian men who traveled out from Chicago to ski jump, the Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove is one of the oldest continuously operating ski clubs in the United States. Organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, it develops athletes for Olympic-level ski jumping and hosts a long-running annual winter tournament.
