  Highly recommend it before going to any snowboard or ski resort! I never snowboard before taking the lessons, I did the 3 lesson package to help learn the basics and get me comfortable enough to hit big bear for the first time! Mark helped me get the scheduling set up. Mieu taught me all 3 lessons prior to heading up. I had so much fun and felt safe and in control, I was able to do all the beginner slope of snow summit, bear mountain and snow valley! Mieu set me up for success! Not only was I able to be comfortable on heel edge for hours, I got to progress and was able to try toe edge! I fell less than expected while snowboarding, but you know what they say, “if you ain’t falling, you ain’t trying” So glad with the lesson! Definitely worth it and made snowboarding fun and addicting!

  Amazing! I went snowboarding and it was a horrible experience, my kid learned so fast and loved it. then I decided to give ski a try so I schedule my class, it was so informative and everyone is so welcoming and amazing. yesterday I went to big bear to ski for the first time and I had such a great time, I was able to catch up with my kid and have fun all day. the carpet felt more challenging and I think that was a good thing because when I got to the snow it felt almost natural. It was so worth it and I would recommend people to try it even when they have never done it. I felt more confident knowing how to stop, turn, fall more gracefully and get op safely.

  Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this for beginner skiers! My husband is a first-time skier, and we decided to do a few lessons to prepare for an upcoming winter trip. The instructor did a wonderful job explaining the basics and helping him feel more confident before getting on actual slopes. These lessons are already saving us both time and money, and I truly believe they’ll help us enjoy our trip even more. I’m a more experienced skier (10+ years), and I also found the lesson surprisingly helpful. The revolving carpet is definitely a different and unique experience and takes a little time to get used to. What I appreciated most was gaining a better understanding of the fundamentals so I can better support my husband as he learns. While I’d personally prefer to spend my time on the slopes as an advanced skier, I still see a lot of value in these lessons—especially for beginners.
