  My family of 4 truly enjoyed our stay at Alyeska. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and well appointed. The mattresses could be more comfortable but that’s personal preference. We had comfortable space for all 4 of us in one room. My parents had a king room with a nice seating area. The hot tub and pool (both saline) were very clean and enjoyable. You need to make reservations for a 2hr time slot. We did but there was never anyone to check them when we arrived. It was never overly crowded. We are ate at the coffee shop/cafe on the seine floor we each morning. The poptarts are amazing! Coffee is good. Oatmeal was a generous portion. Even our teens were happy and full. It rained the whole time we were there so we didn’t explore the grounds or take the tram.

  Our stay at the Alyeska started off very poorly. We arrived at 2 p.m., well ahead of the 4 p.m. check-in time, so we knew we'd have to wait a bit before getting into our rooms. I understand check-in policies, so I didn't mind that part. The real issue was how the hotel handled the situation. My parents are elderly and have mobility issues, and I had a spa booking that day. I left them in the lobby while I went to my appointment, expecting the room to be ready shortly after the official check-in time. Instead, they were left waiting in the lobby until 5 p.m., a full hour past check-in. I had to call multiple times to remind the hotel that elderly guests were sitting there waiting. No one proactively checked on them or offered any accommodation. The Nordic spa itself was nice, but it was so busy, and once you leave you cannot go back in, which felt like an odd policy for how crowded it was. The restaurants were also packed, and the property overall felt overrun with tour buses and tourists. Alaska isn't really known for stellar accommodations, you go for the outdoors, but I honestly expected more from a property with this reputation. Sad to say, I've had better experiences at basic motels in Alaska than I did here. In the end, I canceled our rooms and left. I expected much better service and a much better overall experience from a property like this.

  Incredible experience with great amenities available. Location is superb and lots of parking. Front desk service was excellent and clear signs to locate everything. Pool area could use a little more cleaning and organizing and touch up needed around elevators. Rooms are very cozy and clean. Could use soaps and shampoos mounted to wall for convenience. Really enjoyed the visit.

  Although with only stayed here one night, everything was amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants and stores inside the resort. Pretty much everything at your fingertips.
